NH Winter Program

Last Thursday (1/21), the daycare had their winter program. I was curious to see what they would do with kids so young… especially Tess’ class, but I figured we should participate and support the daycare and the teachers. I am so glad we did! The kids were adorable… all of the rooms. We are blessed to have a great daycare and wonderful teachers.

Tess’ class (Infants) did Chipmunk Jingle Bells. Since babies look a lot alike at this age, Tess is in the pink jumper, third from the end.

Cooper’s class (Young Toddlers) did Deck the Halls. Cooper, as usual, turned his instrument into a guitar and wiggled his little body. Unfortunately, the video we have is too large to post here. If you are on Facebook, I posted them there. I'll see what we can do to get it on here. He was soooo cute!!!

After the program, Cooper got to meet Frosty and have a cookie and juice.

Oh Christmas Tree

This is a little late, but my best friend Jackie shared on her blog her favorite Christmas ornaments… so I thought I’d share our tree and a few of my favorite ornaments. Our tree tells a story… where we’ve been, who we are, and what we love.

Cooper's 2009 ornament... I have very fond memories of playing with sidewalk chalk this last summer as I was quite pregant and we could be outside and I wouldn't have to chase him if he was coloring... Cooper LOVES to color!

I got this ornament when I was teaching Sunday School. It is better in person, but you can kind of see the crosses, fish, hearts, etc. A reminder of God's love for us!

A pickle... you'll have to look up the tradition as I don't have enough room here, but if you know me, you know my love of pickles, so no tree of mine is complete with out a pickle or two or three or four or five... I think that is how many I have.

Tigger... This was one of the ornaments Missy and I had when we were growing up. Now my kids have it.

The pinecone that reminds me of my mom and her Christmas tree the memory of her parent's tree.
