Cooper had a great time trick-or-treating! We went to a few of our neighbors to show off our puppy. We live in a great neighborhood with some wonderful families (many of them about the age of our parents). It's a good thing we only stopped at about four houses... a few neighbors were gone for the night... as it took us an hour just to do them and they are all right next door or across the street from us. We had fun chatting and they were amazed at how fast Cooper has grown. I hate to say we didn't get him out as much during the summer to visit with the neighbors. It seems like the days went so fast and by the time we got home from daycare, made dinner, got ready for the next day, it was dark out. We did go to the block party back in August, but some haven't seen him since.
After we finished we went over to Jackie's house. Cooper loved seeing Lucy (Jack's dog) in her costume... poor Lucy- but she was cute!... and petting the kitties. They were so soft.
Since we had a whirlwind of activity after work, we stopped at Culvers for dinner after Jackie's. They were giving out Halloween candy, too. Cooper brought in quite the stash for five houses and Culvers. Fortunately... or unfortunately... Mom and Dad will enjoy it.
Today I think we'll try to get out to play in the leaves and then go for a walk to get some ice cream... not that we need any more sugar, but Daddy has a free dish from Cold Stone for his birthday.
